Rated 1 out of 5 by Black Fusion Razor Handle Broke Broke at the top where the handle rests on the $125 stand (after 2-3 years.) Overpriced to begin with so I was disappointed that they would not replace just the handle (very cheap plastic, I doubt it cost more than $3 dollars to produce.) They did offer a 50 percent refund. Now I will have $135 in the new handle. Not sure if I will stay with Art of Shaving. This was a gift from my wife so I feel obligated to use it. I would not recommend anyone purchase this handle. Get the $10 kit from WalMart. Use the other $80 for the overpriced blades. May 15, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Falls apart after daily use I had the same experience as BobB. While I was initially pleased with this razor, after daily use for about a year. It fell apart at the juncture of the razor head and the handle. Upon closer examination, there are not enough threads to assure a long lasting coupling. You guys need to fix this. $80 is a lot of money to spend on what turns out to be a flimsy razor. April 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Manual shaver I have used this razor for several years. During travel the base cracked and the Art of Shaving replaced it without question. The weight, balance, and shape are perfect for shaving. I have used electric and other manual shaving systems and I believe in the Art Of Shaving system and razor. Excellent products. July 25, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Pro Glide 5 Blade Failure I am 74 Years old and have used Gillette razors since I started shaving (Single Edged Blade). I received some cash for Fathers Day and decided to buy the latest in razors. I have just had it for 3 or 4 weeks and while I was shaving last night my expense razor fell apart in my hands. This is the biggest waste of money I have seen in a while. I cannot possibly give this razor a positive review... July 1, 2011
