Rated 5 out of 5 Great feel during and after shave!
Absolutely love The Art of Shaving Kit in the Lemon. I had never used a a complete shaving kit before and will now never go back to basic shaving cream. I love the way all the products work together to leave a smooth, fresh, and clean feeling after shaving!!! The Art of Shaving Full kit would be a great gift for the upcoming holidays or any gift for a guy that might not try something like this on their own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Leekahl69 A GREAT new way to shave!
I received the Art of Shaving Full Size kit in Lemon Aroma from the manufacturer in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
This was my first experience in using a brush for application of shaving cream. It was a breeze to use. I simply moistened the brush and dabbed it in the shave cream and one small amount was enough to do my whole face.
The system itself is very nice. However, I did find the preshave oil to be a little sticky and it took more than I thought it would to coat my face. Once applied, though, it easily rinsed off my hand with warm water.
The lemon scent of this product was amazing. Neither too strong or too soft.
After shaving, my face felt great. No razor irritation or redness anywhere. My face felt soft, fresh and revitalized.
I would recommend this product to anyone who was looking for an all inclusive shave system that really worked, and was great for your skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by benh13 Hmm. Not too impressed overall, but some good parts
I taught my son to shave this weekend. I had received The Art of Shaving Full Size Kit - Lemon Aroma and waited until a lazy Sunday morning. He was starting to show dark hairs on his mustache and chin, so it was time.
He giggled throughout the process, mostly from nervousness.
We started by spreading the lemon pre-shave oil on our cheeks. I'm not quite sure why this was necessary, and didn't notice any difference with having used it.
Next we took out the 100% real badger hair brush. Now, badgers are seriously mean animals, and aren't too common in these parts, but we see them in the woods occasionally. I've wondered in the past why people would want to cozy up to a badger hair brush. Turns out they have soft fur, and they won't attack you when they are in brush form. Phew.
Using the badger hair brush, we opened the shaving cream and used it to work up a lather and apply it to our faces. The cream was, well, creamy. It was much different than my normal can of no-name shaving cream. I didn't get much lather out of it, and instead it stayed the consistency of room temperature cream cheese, rather than aerosol whipped cream. Still, it spread well.
Next we shaved. He did a horrible job, and I did awesome. I've had more practice. One thing we noticed right off - the shave cream gums up my razor, and because it's so creamy, it doesn't rinse off well in water. No bueno. The shave cream fails my test. I love the cuddly badger brush, though.
After shaving, we tried the after-shave balm. I have really greasy skin, so I was nervous about applying anything that would exacerbate that problem. I tried it anyway, and it felt good. No sting. Throughout the day I would stroke my face with my hand and feel a bit of the balm there, and get a whiff of lemon. I didn't just stink like lemons all day, though.
Overall, I love the badger brush and I enjoy the after-shave balm. The pre-shave oil and the shaving cream will be passed on to one of my brothers to see if they like it better.
One note on packaging - it took muscle to get the items out of the package. I'm not sure which world war they were fearing in shipping, but the items are safe in that packaging. The box is classy - would be a presentable gift for someone.
