How To Use

Lathering up is the 2nd step in The Art of Shaving's trademarked 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave™ (preceded by applying Pre-Shave Oil).

With a brush (recommended): Rinse your face with hot water to stimulate skin, open pores, and soften beard hair for an easier shave. Then, wet your brush thoroughly under hot water before applying a fingerful of shaving cream to the center. Apply to your face in quick, circular movements to exfoliate the skin and produce a rich lather. Shave with the grain on your first pass. If a closer shave is desired, re-lather and shave against the grain. Rinse with cold water and apply our 2in1 After-Shave Balm.

Without a brush: Place shaving cream directly onto wet skin and massage into a lather using your hands.

There is something wrong with the shave cream. I had been emailing with Support and they stopped responding to me.
I have tried calling to leave a messages and no response.
As a customer for closer to 20 years, this is unacceptable and I will stop using your products

I love the consistency of this formula, it lathers and glides the blade much more so than allowing the blade to drag on rhe skin reducing irritation after shaving and keeping my skin smooth. I recommend it wherever i can!

I've been using Sandalwood Shaving cream for years, I like the product.

its good but not one of my favorites. Unfortunately the AOS product line has been butchered and a lot of the really good products have been canned. The Oud, Bourbon, and Neroli scents have been deleted and this is why i am currently looking for other products. Whoever bought out AOS has really screwed up a good thing.

I ordered two (2) cans of shaving cream before Father day as a gift. As of date - which today is July 8, 2026. I still have not received my products. I have called two (2) different numbers and can only leave messages. Never no one to help or assist. One person - Peggy finally called - gave her info and a week later - no products have been delivered. No follow up on complaints. I either need to get my money back or I will fill a complaint with the better business bureau and anybody else I can file a complaint with.

Great Product!

Can't say enough about this product and the preshave oil! They've created the best shaves I've ever had and a little bit really does go a long way. I'm not sure it will end up costing more than traditional products. As a bonus my wife loves the scent.

I have been using this Sandalwood shave cream for years. No other cream compares. You only need a tad on your brush and it will last you a couple years. Just touch your brush on the cream and the more you brush it on your face the thicker the lather will becomes.
