Product Details

For a more traditional wet-shave experience, the Sandalwood Shaving Soap generates a rich, proper lather that assists in razor glide to prevent irritation and burn. Formulated with glycerin and coconut oil, the shaving soap is best when used with a shaving brush and hot water. The lather will protect the skin and softens the beard while providing an extremely close shave.

  • Comes in a wooden Teak bowl, which can be refilled
  • Free from synthetic dyes and alcohol

  • The shaving lather provides glide that helps protect the skin from irritation and razor burn.
  • The lather helps keep the beard hair lifted for a close cut.

How to Use

How to Use: Always shave during or after a hot shower. Wet a Badger Shaving Brush with hot water and whisk it over the surface of the soap to generate a rich lather. Apply lather on the face and shave with the grain. For a closer shave, re-lather and shave lightly across or against the grain. Rinse with cold water and apply After-Shave Balm.

I stopped my quest for the best shaving soap once I found The Art of Shaving Shaving Soap. I especially like the sandalwood scent; it is light and not over-powering. The soap works into a lather that works perfectly and the wooden bowl is beautiful container. Well-done, The Art of Shaving!

Lasts forever and has a delicious smell, like a tiny room filling with incense. A little goes a long way. The foam is nice and light but sticks to the face to allow tracking of shave's progress. It doesn't collapse over time. Highly recommend. Worth the investment. Make sure to rinse the soap and leave it uncapped to dry overnight and then replace the cover.

I have been using the shaving cream for the past year, and although I loved that product, I had inconsistent lather, but with the shaving soap it it perfect every single time and takes seconds to get the lather. I will never go back from the shaving soap.

Very new to the Art of Shaving, and after sampling many other products, I was extremely satisfied with the Sandalwood shave soap. Easy to use, a very clean smell and close shave. Recommended highly.
