How To Use

Pre-Shave Oil: Applying Pre-Shave Oil is the first step in The Art of Shaving's trademarked 4 Elements of The Perfect Shave. Before shaving, place a few drops of Pre-Shave Oil onto your fingertips. Massage the oil into the area to be shaved (including the neck) to help soften and lift facial hair. You'll need just enough to provide a light coating over the beard area. Do not rinse off before shaving. Instead, apply Shaving Cream directly on top.

Shaving Cream: Wet your brush thoroughly under hot water before applying a fingerful of shaving cream to the center. Apply to your face in quick, circular movements to exfoliate the skin and produce a rich lather. Shave with the grain on your first pass. If a closer shave is desired, re-lather and shave against the grain. Rinse with cold water and apply our 2in1 After-Shave Balm.

After-Shave Balm: Applying After-Shave Balm is the final step in the 4 Elements of The Perfect Shave, because even the most careful shave is tough on skin. After shaving, rinse your face with cold water before applying three pumps of our 2in1 After-Shave Balm to your face and neck. Gently massage the balm in with your hands for 8 hours of restorative hydration.

High quality and smooth skin

Love that these were unscented. Helped to achieve a super close shave and left my skin smooth and moisturized. Would buy again and would recommend as a gift. No cons so far.

trying something new

the product works very well especially for people like me who do not like scented products. i felt like my face was protected while i was shaving and afterwards. i would buy it in the future when i run out.

No bumps!

Great kit! It is unscented but it actually has a very faint scent which is nice. The best part about using this cream and after shave is that I get absolutely no razor burn or bumps, at all. I am usually irritated for at least a day after shaving but I experienced no issues while using this. Highly recommend.

An Indulgent Shaving Experience

Everything about this product was premium. From the presentation to the shaving experience, I felt like shaving was more an indulgence than a necessary chore. The box is very appropriate as a gift, and when I opened the box, the products appear exactly as depicted. More than just shaving cream and a razor, I was motivated to take my time and concentrate on enjoying my saving experience to take advantage of eac product as well as the process. The pre-shave beard oil is perfect for preparation and lubricating my skin and hairs. There’s something about using the brush to apply shave cream and having a traditional shave experience that is both nostalgic and again, indulgent. The shave cream is iridescent and rich and pampering to the skin. The aftershave balm is the perfect finishing touch. I found it calming and soothing to my freshly shaved skin, and it left me feeling fully invested in my shaving experience. Best of all, this experience makes me look forward to shaving every day.

worth it for the experience

Smooth as a baby's bottom! This kit is something that I'll start using on a daily basis. The badger hair brush is something that is super soft after you run it under some warm water. It's the closest shave I've ever had and the scent of sandalwood makes you feel like you're a classy gentleman. I do wish it came with a safety razor because the products seem to work better with one vs a cartridge razor.
