My bf received this in a kit from a family member earlier this year, and although I'm extremely happy that he's no longer splashing Aqua Velva (?) onto his sensitive, rosacea-affected skin, there are still ingredients in this formula that are definitely not good (or necessary) for good skin care. Those ingredients are all of the citrus peel oils/extracts. All of which have significant potential for irritation and even hyperpigmentation. So, although this product feels nice on the skin, we're not taking any chances for anymore red, tight post-shaved skin. _x000D_
I really wish these skincare companies would realize that they are excluding a significant amount of customers who are at least somewhat educated about what goes on their skin and simply not put those ingredients in their products anymore. However, if you have the type of skin that you don't have to worry about any sensitivities, then you'll probably love this!!

The big advantage of the unscented product is that I can scent it myself with the fragrance I like. I take two pumps of the balm and add a drop or a squirt of my fragrance, mix it between my hands and apply to my face. Truly the best of both worlds.

This is a great product, except for the bottle design. The tiny tube inside leaves a LOT of product in the bottle that you can't get out. A significant amount of product.

I am reluctant to leave gushing reviews, but have been using this for a while. Although pricey for the amount you get, a little goes a long way. As others have mentioned, it really does leave your skin moist and yet not greasy. By far my favorite.

I have oily skin and wasn't really sure about using the After Shave Balm. I thought maybe that it would leave my skin feeling even more oily. It doesn't. Hours after shaving my skin still feels freash and it is not oily at all. I think the balm, actually helps keep the oils down.

Even though I used the Unscented Balm, there is a very slight fragrance in the Balm. I don't mind at all. It is ver soft and pleasant to smell.

I don't usually use an After-Shave Balm, or anything after shaving but those little tiny squares of paper. However, after using the After-Shave Balm, I realized that I didn't know what I was missing. My skin felt refreshed and hydrated. I would recommend this to anyone that wants their face to be touchably soft all day long.

This stuff is liquid gold. I love it and always use it. It's the final touches on a perfect shave. Keeps me from drying out all day and leaves me feeling fresh.

The after shave balm made my face feel refreshed and soothed my skin. I was always 50/50 on using an after shave but this one was great and did what it said it would do.

The Art of shaving aftershave balm is light and clean. Putting it on is soothing and leaves my face smooth with no oily or creamy residue

First off, I have to say that my favorite part of this product is that it doesn't burn my freshly shaved skin. I use it after using the rest of the shave kit and it leaves my skin feeling so fresh, clean, and especially smooth.

It does not leave my skin feeling greasy, which is a huge plus. Also, it doesn't have an alcohol smell or feel to it.

Finally, It's not drying on my skin either.

I highly recommend this product to anyone.

The after-shave balm....theirs nearly no smell to this and the smell it does have is extremely faint and not bad smelling. It comes nicely packaged like it belongs in a high end barber shop. It feels Nice and smooth. After putting it on, your skin will feel amazing and soft as a baby's bottom! It does not leave your skin feeling sticky like some 'balms.' I highly highly recommend this product, as well as the entire The Art of Shaving Unscented kit with the Badger Shaving Brush!!

After shaving today, I applied the unscented after shave balm provided in the kit and was amazed by how great it felt on my skin. I like that it was non-greasy and absorbed quickly. I also liked that it was unscented because i've been using a scented after-shave balm for years just out of habit and I didn't always like the overpowering scent. This balm also didn't sting or irritate my skin, but instead left my face feeling soft and hydrated. I definitely would recommend this product.

The Art of Shaving After-Shave balm, is simply amazing. We all know, shaving can be irritating for the skin, especially for those of us with thicker follicles. No matter what we try, we always end up with nicks, or ingrown hairs, as the other brands, simply don't have added benefit of a product like this. It goes onto the skin like melted butter, making it feel supple and refreshed. Looking in the mirror, you will notice an little extra shine to your face, that mimics that of a normal moisturizer. Therefore, not only does this product help your skin revitalize after shaving, it gives you the glow of fresh, conditioned skin! You will not believe the difference between this product, and (most) others, that sting, burn, and leave you feeling like your face is on fire! Its the last step of The Art of Shaving experience, and its definitely the best!

Alright fellas, you made through shaving and the Art of Shaving® After Shave Balm is like crossing home plate before you even start your day. The balm is soft and gentle going on and takes the edge off the torments of scrapping your face with a razor. Very refreshing. Now go tackle the day baby face!

The Art of Shaving® after shave balm was unscented, as advertised, and made my face feel good after the shave I obtained using The Art of Shaving® unscented pre-shave oil and unscented shaving cream. Whilst it did it's assigned duty, one would assume any after shave balm would work as well.

I like the fact that it's unscented and it leaves your skin really smooth. It doesn't irritate your skin as you apply it.

As my title states, this balm was aweswome. It really soothed my skin and kept it feeling hydrated for the remainder of the day. My fiance felt my face afterwards and then insisted on using it as a lotion for her hands. She would've preferred a nice scent to it, however I am happy that it was unscented...afterall, that's what cologne is for.

Ok this is my other favorite part of the kit. When i felt it between my fingers before applying it i could already tell it was a good product because it immediately made my fingers feel softer. Once i applied it to my face it went on smoothly but at first left my face really shiny. I'll leave it to you to decide whether or not that part is a good thing. Anyways once it set in and dried i was amazed at how soft and smooth my skin was. There were no unsightly red bumps or razor burn and my skin actually looked and felt younger. There really wasn't even any sting like you can experience with most conventional after shave products which was a big plus as well. So all in all from start to finish this is, in my opinion, a quality kit that embraces a good system for getting a close, comfortable, clean shave. It is a product worth the investment.

This was easily my favorite part of the shave. Just a little bit of the balm left my face smooth, moisturized and ready for the day. It doesn't leave your face greasy, has no smell so you don't smell like you showered in after shave either. Even if you don't use any other part of the Art of Shaving kit, the After-Shave balm is a must have for every man of shaving age.

Most after-shaves tend to produce irritation to my skin through artificial fragrance. This natural shave balm from The Art of Shaving left my skin smooth and hydrated without smelling like I rubbed cologne on my face.

Overall, the product was great. The after-shave went on smooth, did not smell and had quick absorbtion. It did not leave a residue or sticky feeling on my face like other brands. Would recommend this product.

Immediately upon applying this balm, my razor burn (from a previous shave before I got this kit) stopped hurting instantly. My girlfriend decided to give it a try on her legs and she immediately went online to purchase her own. It is that good! I love that you barely have to use any and I love that it felt like I went to a very manly spa type place where they shave you and use expensive treatments on you. I'm hooked for life.

I have never used any kind of after shave balm or after shave. The Art of Shaving Balm really left my face feeling clean and smooth days after I used it. For all you ladies out there who like a smooth cleaned shave man then The Art of Shaving® Full Size Kit would be the perfect gift for your leading man or father or brother etc...

My face has thanked me ever since I started using this, but every day Im reminded of how poorly the dispenser pump is designed. Even after cleaning, the first pump will end up on the wall, or the mirror, or shoot my son in the face as he watches me apply. I hope that P & G will re-work the design of the pump so it doesnt keep getting clogged. Otherwise, I like the balm itself but the dispenser is aggravating to no end.

I had never used an AOS product before today but I had received a sample packet of this unscented aftershave balm so I used it today after shaving. Wow. I was very surprised and loved how well my face felt. Very moisturizing and soft and comfortable. I am going to have to go back and get some for regular use. Thanks AOS.
