Silvertip Brush

The Ivory Silvertip Shaving Brush is an essential key to achieving The Perfect Shave®. It generates a rich warm lather by retaining warm water to help soften the beard hair. Using a shaving brush to apply your shaving cream helps lift beard hair for a clean, close shave. A shaving brush also lightly exfoliates skin to help release trapped hairs.

Features:

  • Silvertip Badger Hair, featuring soft white tips
  • Brush head is handmade by an artisan
  • Has greater hair density than pure and fine shaving brushes
  • Ivory acrylic handle with The Art of Shaving brand logo

Benefits:

  • Generates a rich and warm lather by retaining warm water to help soften beard hair.
  • Application helps lifts the beard hair for a close shave.
  • Lightly exfoliates skin to help release trapped hairs.
  • Greater hair density per shaving brush means more warm water is retained by the badger hair. Also, more hairs create more movement and lift by the shaving brush.
  • Simple, handle pairs well with most of The Art of Shaving razors. Will also fit in most razor stands* sold by The Art of Shaving.

It was worth every penny
I started off using the basic badger brush for several months before I decided to spoil myself and spend the extra money on this beautiful brush. It has a very good amount of hair. Very dense and thick bunch of hair yet soft on the face . I’ve compared it to other expensive brands that my friends use and theirs did not come close to the fullness and softness of this brush. It is beautiful. My brush lasted me a good 4 years before it started shedding and falling apart, maybe it was the glue that held it together that started to deteriorate ? Nonetheless 4 years is a very long time for a shaving brush. I’m glad I was able to have it for so long, Very soft and silky brush always gave me a great shave til the end . I am definitely purchasing another. Highly recommend to someone who wants to up their shaving experience.

Crazy Expensive, Yes but Worth Every Penny
When I first started using this product I took the least expensive route. Though I would save a few dollars. My experience was disappointing, to say the least. So, in for a penny, I tried the badger tipped brush. WOW, I am amazed at the difference and the experience is a 180 to the positive. No going back now. Highly recommended.

Nice!
I am fairly new to the wet shaving game, but when my wife bought my first products she went with a cheap brush. I quickly upgraded to this silvertip by TAOS. What a difference this brush makes: more lather, better application, and just how sweet it is on my skin. Needless to say I have been shaving for a few years, about 30, I never knew I would look forward to what I used to consider a chore. I love this brush, and my TAOS products!

Silvertip On the Tip of My Lips!
Why spend $180 for a shave brush? For that matter why spend $180 for a silvertip one? Because if you are on this website you know you are worth it, and because we only go around once, so let's enjoy our daily rituals. I own four silvertips, TAOS's being the most expensive and the best. It is very soft, soaks up lather, and treats sensitve skin like mine kindly. I suppose TAOS silvertip badgers must have graduated finishing school. A good silvertip, with simple proper care, will last for years. The diffenece in price from the pure badger is $80, which is not much, considering the superiority of the brush and its life expectancy (hard to imagine that a dead badger has any life expectancy). If you are going to buy TAOS's other excellent products, I recommend you invest in the silvertip: money well spent!
